Seriously though, when I hear Obama speak hope swells in my heart too. It comes from a place of wishing for a better world and believing that he can help us get there. I wonder if the feelings that Obama evokes in me are similar to the feelings that JFK evoked during his Presidency.

I’ll be looking forward to reading a celabratory post on Wednesday!

Is it just because he’s a charasmatic leader? We’ve had many of those, and few were evil cultists. A few were even truly great.

I am sorry you got kicked in the teeth at the list serv. If you’re a Kool Aid drinking fool, I’m right there with you. I’ve been an Obama supporter since day 1. I will be glad when the election is over, with all this feverish insanity.
